A “liquid facelift” describes a treatment plan rather than one product or one fixed set of injections. Donna considers your facial proportions, movement, existing volume and preferences before recommending any combination.

Understanding a Liquid Facelift
Dermal fillers add volume in selected tissues. Neuromodulators temporarily reduce selected muscle activity associated with expression lines. These mechanisms are different and do not make the treatments interchangeable.
Injectables do not remove loose skin or reposition deeper facial tissues in the way a surgical facelift can. Significant skin laxity may call for a surgical consultation rather than more filler.

Choose Each Product for a Purpose
Hyaluronic-acid fillers
HA gels attract water and can support selected contours, lips or folds. Juvéderm includes several formulations with different intended uses. Ask which gel fits the proposed area.
Calcium hydroxylapatite
Radiesse provides volume support and stimulates collagen. It differs from HA filler and cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase. It is not a lip-filler substitute.
Expression-line treatments
Botox and Daxxify address selected muscle activity. Product-specific indications, units and duration differ; one product’s dosing cannot be transferred to another.
Skin quality & surgical alternatives
Peels may address selected surface concerns. Facial fat transfer is a separate surgical option requiring a surgeon’s assessment and is not Donna’s injectable filler service.

Health & prior treatment
Discuss previous fillers, surgery, reactions, current medicines and any nerve or muscle conditions. Tell Donna if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active skin infection.
Realistic limits
The result depends on anatomy, product and response. More volume is not always helpful, and nonsurgical care does not promise the same outcome as a facelift.

Talk about your goals
Describe the areas that concern you and the degree of change you would like. The assessment considers your face at rest and in movement, skin quality, volume and previous treatments.
Review your health
Bring your medication and supplement list. Discuss allergies, prior reactions, cold sores, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any active skin infection. Do not stop a prescribed medicine unless the clinician who manages it advises you to.
Choose the treatment together
Your provider explains the product, the proposed areas, expected changes, limits, risks and cost. Ask whether a proposed use is FDA-approved for that product or off-label, and what that distinction means for your plan.
Plan comfort and follow-up
Numbing may be offered depending on the treatment; some fillers contain lidocaine. Confirm aftercare, when to assess the result and who to contact if something does not feel right.

Comfort & treatment
Skin is cleaned and comfort measures may be offered. Some products contain lidocaine. You may still feel stinging, pressure or tenderness; communicate concerns throughout the appointment.

Some combinations are best separated into visits. Donna will explain when to review the settled result before deciding whether another step is needed.

The first few days
Fullness can be visible immediately after filler, but early swelling can exaggerate the result. Bruising and tenderness may be noticeable. Allow time before important events and follow your personal aftercare instructions.
Your follow-up
Review the settled result with your provider before deciding whether more treatment is useful. Contact the team promptly about unexpected changes instead of trying to massage or adjust the area yourself.
Maintaining the result
Temporary fillers are absorbed over time. Duration depends on the product, location and individual response. Expression-relaxing injections also wear off; your provider helps plan any repeat visits.
An informed choice
Know the Risks Before Treatment
Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness and redness can follow filler treatment. Infection, lumps, asymmetry or delayed inflammation can occur. Some filler materials can be difficult to remove.
Symptoms that need urgent attention
Rare injection into a blood vessel can damage skin or cause blindness or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for unusual pain, skin turning white, gray or blue, vision changes or stroke symptoms after treatment.
Your product matters
Review the specific product’s patient information with your injector, including allergies, precautions and whether treatment should be postponed. Results and recovery differ between people.

Questions About a Liquid Facelift
Is this the same as surgery?
No. A surgical lift can reposition tissue and remove excess skin. A liquid facelift uses injectables for selected volume and expression concerns.
How long will it last?
There is no single duration for a combination treatment. Product, area and individual response matter, and different parts of the plan may need review at different times.
Can all fillers be reversed?
No. Hyaluronidase may be used for certain HA-filler complications, but reversal is not guaranteed or risk-free. Radiesse cannot be dissolved with it.
Will I see the result immediately?
Some filler changes are visible early, but swelling can distort them. Neuromodulator effects develop over time. Ask when each part of your plan should be assessed.
